http://www.boisdelindthout.be/gallery/ questions : How can I : 1. replace the backgroundcolor by a background image as in the first screen ? 2. replace the word "Gallery" by a picture .jpg in the same screen ? 3. add a link <a> on the same picture to open the main site if visitors are opening I am running the v1.4-pl2 version ! Should I upgrade ? and if yes, how can I do that ? sorry for the multiple questions, but I just took this site over from some other guy and thanks a lot anyway for your answers Daniel |

You need to upgrade first!
Your version has some security issues that have been addressed.
http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery1:Upgrading
It is old and you might be able to fix a few issues with the user interface of the newer version.

ok, I have tried to upgrade,
I kept getting error messages, so I went for Gallery2,
Without success mind you, still the same restrictions with save_mode there..
So I decided to get back to my previous version, at least it is supported by the server I share! and I made the changes I wanted on my way !!
so that's it for now !!
