Video & Sound Flash Player don't work

Hello Is it like that, that the flash video and sound player not working with wordpress and the galleryembedded theme?? I tried and tried, nothing happened.. ;-( Before, when I was using Gallery for itself, it worked. Thanks, |

Is your WPG2 embedded page named "gallery2"? I'm confused by the links I'm seeing.
EDIT: Never mind. I figured out that your gallery is in /gallery/ and your embedded page is "gallery2." So, no naming conflict there.
In Firefox, the first time I went to your standalone gallery, the link http://www.reisesucht.ch/gallery/gallery2/diverses/fendels2005/New+Stories+_Highway+Blues_.wma.html doesn't work either. When I click it, it opened Windows Media Player, but then failed on an error that it could not get the file from the server. But I tried it again a few minutes later, and it worked.
So, then I tried the embedded page again, http://www.reisesucht.ch/gallery2/diverses/fendels2005/New+Stories+_Highway+Blues_.wma.html, and it worked. I'm getting the download and music is playing.
Maybe it is a problem with your server getting bogged down and timing out periodically on starting the stream?

Yes i just re-configured this yesterday. I wanted to have it called "gallery" but there's a problem with the original gallery of course... so I choose "gallery2".
The wordpress is now working on my root www.reisesucht.ch with the index.php.
sorry i just changed the php rewrite. here is the new url:

Hmmm...ok, was my mistake to take a wma. what did I thought to choose this format ;-)
That works for now. I like this small player.
Would be nice to choose a front picture (thumbnail) for a audio file or video.
but unfortunately video still does not play. I have converted a avi to the flv format.

on yoursite you need to set the height/width - edit movie->movie size and add them manually (w:640 h:480)
if your server/host supports ffmpeg it will detect the dimensions for you.

Install the thumbnail module and you can set custom thumbs for any gallery item.
