What is the latest version of the WordpressEmbedded theme? I have version 0.1.0 installed, but there are a couple of issues with the navigation elements that I'm dealing with and I'm wondering if there is a more current version that has already addressed these issues.

I'm not sure how religious Ozgreg has been with version numbers, but the latest version of WordPressEmbedded can be downloaded here.

Thanks Kirk. I successfully updated to the lastest version. I'm still seeing the navigation issues though.

Notice the first and previous navigation elements here:

and here:

Curiously though, next and last navigation elements work fine on their own:

This leads to the obvious conclusion that something is wrong with the first and previous navigation elements. I'm doing trial an error, but have not had any luck thus far.

Any thoughts? Anyone?

I have just checked the wordpressembedded theme on my blog and I do not see this issue thus I suspect it is your Wordpress Theme which is interfering with output..

Unfortunately without a link to your blog it is hard to pinpoint the probable issue

Ok checking your Gallery2 without Wordpress and your content displays fine, so it is a clash of your Wordpress + Gallery2 CSS Stylesheet, around what looks like the Last Arrow thus why it is only working on page 2.. I cannot spot the css element that is throwing it out, anyone??

	.previous { float: left; }

	.next { float: right; }

from the WP theme css is the culprit.

Don't know if removing it will change some other navigation in the WP pages.

Most likely would, but my advice would be to load a different css sheet in the wpg2header.php with the above posted tweak..

Thanks Floridave :)

Thanks guys. I've got that problem resolved!

I have one last issue that I'm hoping you guys can help me resolve. It has to do with the gray bar on which the navigation links are displayed:

It displays correctly when the "next and last" are the only elements displayed. However, when the "previous and next" elements are displayed, the height of the gray bar is cut in half and the page looks odd.

You can see it working fine here:
http://www.joemccaffery.com/photos?g2_itemId=899

And not working fine here:
http://www.joemccaffery.com/photos?g2_itemId=899&g2_page=2

And here:
http://www.joemccaffery.com/photos?g2_itemId=899&g2_page=3

Any ideas on what the cause of this might be? I played with this all afternoon and know that the same behavior is in the stand alone and embedded pages, so I don't believe it's a conflicting CSS issue. Obviously though I'm not an expert and would greatly appreciate some additional assistance.

Thanks again!

Add:

.block-core-Navigator {
height: 15px;
}

to the theme.css
you might have to adjust the 15 as I was only guessing.

When I use the mentioned theme I have broken Rewrite Urls (using wpg2 rewrite)
Using the WP-2.7 standard theme, it worked all right.

My Test configuratin is the following:

Wordpress 2.7
Gallery2 2.3 core 1.3.0
WPG2 2.3.0.7
