Hi kirk.
So i've got my drupal/gallery2 integration set up, its a pretty nice combo.
The g2image is on there, working well with TinyMCE.
I like it that authenticated users are able to use TinyMCE, and its cool that they can put images from the gallery into posts, especially from users albums.
BUT
I'm reluctant to display the g2image button in the TinyMCE profile that is accessible by them because the images from my gallery appear without a watermark on them when browsed via the lightbox. Is there a fix for this? thanks mate.

I'm searching a solution for the watermarks in the lightbox too.

is there any way of disabling the lightbox then in you can't watermark images?
also had another thought for development: links are placed in html and are determined by whatever mode the gallery is currently using e.g. url-rewrites/query based urls. if people have trouble with url rewrites, they might switch back, and any links made wont work. Wouldn't it be a good idea to put an option of either following how gallery handles urls or a specific choice?

Hi. Sorry for the delay. Life has gotten in the way of G2Image the past few weeks...
Sorry about the watermarks not showing up in Lightbox. I thought I had that fixed in the latest release. I'll have to see if there's a quick fix for it.
I've almost totally rewritten the G2Image backend for 3.1 (with terrific help from Andres Obrero). 3.1 will definitely show watermarks in all cases, and it will allow resizes to show in the "insert fullsize" options and Lightbox.
I hadn't thought about allowing a user to force not using rewrites even if Gallery2 is using them. I'll have to take a look to see how easy that would be. Off the top of my head, I don't know how to do it easily, since Gallery2's URL generator creates the URLs according to the internal settings. But there may be a parameter that tell the URL generator to always generate them in one form or the other.
Give me a couple of days to get back up to speed and I'll post what I find.
Kirk

its great that people like you do this under gpl so its not like anyone can complain about slow development!
that idea was just my six pence worth so if its possible then great, if not its not the end of the world!
don't forget my previous suggestions http://gallery.menalto.com/node/69661 and http://gallery.menalto.com/node/71501!
