2 Wierd problems with Gallery2 in Drupal...newbie needs help.

I've integrated Gallery2 into Drupal (both latest stable builds).

I have added the Image Block (Random Photos) to the Drupal site.

I have 2 problems:

1st is that the Image Block doesnt resize in IE7 to allow for landscape random images, but does in Firefox...in IE7 the landscape photos overlap the border which looks terrible...how can I fix this?

2nd is that when I am logged in to the site to edit it, if I refrsh the main page, the random photos change to new random photos.
If I view the website logged out, and refrsh the page, the random images never change, the same ones always appear. Seems like a permisison setting needs changed but I have no idea which needs changed?

Any help is very much appreciated!

1) I dont know :( Sounds like a CSS issue with IE7. In case you are using the exactSize method (which downloads a larger image and forces the browser to rescale) try to switch to maxSize instead.

2) You probably have caching enabled in Drupal. Its normal behavior that anonymous users are served with a cached version of the page (including the images), whereas pages for normal users are re-generated on every reload.

HI there,

yep, caching was enabled, this fixed the problem!

The IE7 problem is still annoying me, I'll try what you suggested.

I have found another problem...when I view the gallery through my Drupal site, Lightbox doesn't work...clicking on a photo just opens it the normal way.
But if I view the standalone gallery, lightbox works just fine...any ideas what would cause this?
