Changing the initial background and nav bar colours

Hi, thanks to anyone who can help. I am using gallery 1 and the http address is: www.fsidesign.co.uk/gallery.
I'd like to change the background colour of the initial opening screen and the colour of the nav bar (currently it's the default 2 blues) I have managed to change the background of an album, but not the first page?
