Welp ... I'm new to all this and am working on getting my first WordPress site up, in doing so I found that I could include my gallery 2 I already had. Now I'm having an issue, not a big one I hope, but I can't get it figured out and trying to read more and more things I'm just getting lost and confused. I had the URL rewrite all setup, but with getting the vSlider3 theme going on both WP and G2 I guess I need to tweak that a little. When I went to reconfigure it I'm having problems with the .htaccess file part. I'm not 100% sure of what the absolute path I'm looking for is and then UR to my environment? Whenever I try to add what I think it should be it keeps saying ... "Cannot write to the .htaccess file". I already did a chmod 666 to both .htaccess files for both WP and G2, cause I'm not really even 100% sure which one I'm supposed to be working with. I'm just really lost at this point? Any help would be appreciated ... |

Hiya Dunnster,
You should not have to specify the absolute path, the WPG2 plugin will automatically do that for you.. The absolute path value is the absolute path to your Wordpress Installation, where ever that is.. The WPG2 Paths tab will also show this value..
