RFE:bandwidth throttle

Hi,

I am uploading an album using the latest GR and I notice that it is consuming the entire upload bandwidth of my internet connection.

Is there a way to specify how much bandwidth GR consumes? If not, please consider adding such an configuration option.

That's a great suggestions. Much more easily said than done, though :-)

I'll see if there's previous art throttling TCP connections in Java.

You might want to talk to the person who designed/wrote DVArchive :

http://dvarchive.sourceforge.net/

since it written in Java and has this feature.

Thanks for the pointer. I've tried downloading the source, but SF.net seems to be having problems with the anon CVS again, so I can't. I've also sent email to Gerry, the main author of DVarchive.
