Settings erased! Why?

When I deactivate and reactivate the WPG2 3.x plugin, whether for a WordPress upgrade or some other reason, do ALL of the settings have to be reset to default? I've got my settings exactly the way I want them and don't want to have to rebuild everything from scratch anytime I upgrade Wordpress or the plugin. So WHY does it happen and can it be stopped!? Thanks. |

Actually the option settings are saved, not the path settings and on activation those settings retrieved. If you use the deactivate all button on the bottom of the plugin screen (which you are meant to use for upgrades) no settings will be lost.

Hmm, well when I did my upgrades to WordPress 2.3.2, then 2.3.3 more recently, deactivating all plugins removed every setting, but only from this plugin.
However, when I just deactivated the plugin on its own just now, nothing was lost. Something freaky is going on.
OK, fair enough, I'll go and smack my WordPress around a bit to find out what it knows...

Laughs I regularly smack my wordpress around usually because of some dodgy code I have added that is crashing it.. Sorry did I say dodgy, I meant undocumented code ;)
