Album with ALL images and image count

I have all my images in separate albums, but I'd like the visitor to also be able to view *all* images in the gallery. Any way I can achieve that?

And another question: how can I see how many images I have in the gallery? and how can I post it up for everyone to see on the home page or in the side bar? (Something like "X number of images online").

they can view all your images anyway.
do you mean you want to have a single page with thumbnails of all your images?
or a slideshow that shows all your images instead of the images of just one album?

that depends on your theme. the default theme (the matrix theme) shows the total number of items somewhere on the album page, near the album's description.

So they can browse one single "album" of all the images on the site, with the same "Back" and "Next" links.

If I can only have all thumbnails on single page, that would be fine too, possibly better.

2. I'm using Classic theme

Edit album theme tab, change the columns and rows to reflect the number of itmes you want on the one page.

that's not what I want. I know I can change the number of rows/columns displayed in an album.

I want to be able to have an "album" that contains all items in the catalog, as opposed to visitors going through each album separately.

I guess you can use one of the following modules:
tags > tag all items the same and point your users to that album.
Keywords > keyword all items the same and point your users to that album.
Dynamic album > recently added items show all.
