google map module --> online game

I'm new to a lot of this, so not sure this is where or how to proceed...

i've been developing online games for years, and had been designing something that needed maps like this. the first release of the game would need to interactively:

* show a region with all but 1 country named
* draw a path from one country to another
* allow map to be clicked on to get a trivia question

My Global Challenge game http://cascoly.com/games/triv/gcmain.asp is a older version of the game [originally written ca 1992] that i'd like to upgrade. the world db is functioning, as is the trivia game engine to generate unique questions everytime it's played. if possible, i'd like to find others who are interested to work on this - not sure if it would require a total re-write or if the map modules could be integrated.

best would be if somone were willing to work with me on this, but if not, i'd appreciate some tips on how to get started on this...
