Pop ups how??

Hi!

I need make pop ups when an unregistred make click in a picture in order to see it in large format.
The pop up should says something like "You need to be registered to see larger pictures".

Is possible make this kind of pop ups? How?

I know how to do it in a simple html code using javascript but how can i do it in gallery?
