Using WPG2 3.0.2 and WP 2.3.3:

Gallery is in a different sub-domain, but on the same server.
WP and Gallery DB are separate.

Sidebar Block and Grids widgets both work just fine (I can see lots of random images). Both look great!
Album tree widget also works fine and shows all the sub-albums.

When writing (or editing a post) and using the G2 icon to add images, the new sub-window displays, but only the root album. No sub-albums are showing. Clicking expand-all has no effect.

EDIT: When clicking on the album link in the Album tree widget, I get a 404 Error Not Found message in my WP blog.

EDIT: More Information: My WPG2 page is set to standalone since my gallery doesn't fit inside the blog template I'm using. If I set this back to using a Wordpress page for output (the default), everything starts working. The Album tree widget, and the G2Chooser show the sub-albums.

EDIT: Ok, now when I go BACK to using a standalone page for output, the G2 chooser window continues to work. Something must have been set up when I created the WPG2 page by activating WP output which has remained and allowed it to work. Now the Album tree widget is no longer working, but I can live with that for now.

I think I've narrowed this down to being related to using a standalone page for output FROM THE BEGINNING without allowing the WPG2 page to be generated. Anyone seeing similar behavior?

This is known buggy behaviour.. Basically setting WPG2 to the Gallery2 Standalone page can lead to WPG2 failing to correctly log the Wordpress User into Gallery2. This has already been corrected and will be released in the next WPG2 3.0x release due soon.

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to know this is a known thing. Apologies if I didn't find it in the forums during my searches (I tried, honestly).

But thanks a million for a great plugin that has really helped make my blog special. I'm looking forward to the new version!

No issues, not sure when this was reported, I had raised a bug tracker ticket about it last year and just finished the coding changes a few weeks ago thus it was fresh in my mind..

Ok. Well, let me know if I can help out with beta testing or anything. I'd be more than happy to do it.

No issues, we are just moving around our development area to handle the upcoming WP 2.5 etc so normally you be able to download a trunk snapshot of code but that is not working until we finished the reorganisation..
