Problems with translation

Hello,

I have installed Gallery2 on my server. Gettext is enabled on my server, but when I select Spanish or other language nothing happens, it still shows all the screens in English. Is there anything I can do?
It is quite important for me to change it into Spanish, since most if not of all of my visitors will be Spanish-speaking people.
