wpg2 Search from homepage

Hi,

I am using the wpg2 plugin with Gallery2. My homepage is a static page and my gallery is on another page.

I am looking for a WPG2 and Gallery2 Search plugin that I can add in my sidebar on the homepage.

I have downloaded and tried wpg2Search widget, but its not working and I think it's for an older version.

I am running Wordpress 2.3.3 and the latest of G2 and WPG2

Any advise?

I believe wpg2search is no longer working for WPG2 3.0. WPG2 3.1 will have a G2 search widget, I would have liked to have released the widget in WPG2 3.0 but I simply run out of time..
