didn't Bharat say he was giving cameras to donaters of $10 or more?
I donated some bucks a few days ago - so where's my camera!!!
LOL - HAHA - it's a joke - no yelling or billowing please. (I did donate $10 though, no joke and hope it helps - every little bit should!)
From a very Long time user, tester, and supporter of Gallery here.
what's that 'novice' designation - LOL
may I make a real suggestion that the 'novice' and other designations for forum participants be turned off. Is there a real need for them anyway. Heck, I don't care, others might

Heh, thanks for your donation.
Moving to Site Feedback and Suggestions for your suggestion. I'm not the boss of stuff like that, Bharat should spot it when he gets back
EDIT: Duh! I don't moderate this forum. Anyway, Bharat should see it when he gets back...

aaahhh - using his vacation to shop for a huge load of cameras I bet.
LOL.
Hello Andrew! I did have a couple suggestions:
1- This site is EXTREMELY well organized and navigates so well, I'm surprised at the poll, which has been up so long. But my thoughts on that aren't important.
2- After hacking and customizing an older 1.3.3 install of gallery on a site today, I thought, why it doesnt have a link to "slideshow" in the view_photo page(s)s; that link to the slideshow is only on the thumbnails page(s) view_ album.
that link and function would be very, very useful in both places, I think. sorry, I should have searched for that being posted request already, I'm sure it has!
Anything that I'm not aware of that precludes that change being made? I mean, anything that you or bharat knows that's on the view_photos pages coding that's not compatible with the slideshow JS, or other problems?
I don't follow Gallery code, even though I write some code in PHP, somewhat Ok, but not Gallery's level yet. Using Chami's HTML-Kit for with the PHP plug-ins for coding in PHP recently. HTML-kit is a killer free app for all coding, all languages now. well, almost all - LOL - I didn't notice much it doesn't - put it that way.
Bharat must be an "organizational" guru to keep this project going ahead with steam for so long. On my desk are many books, but one that my business partner just sent me is called "Managing Software manics" - the title is tooooo funny, eh? by Ken Whittaker 1994 -
thanks Andrew
