My site is in spanish, ive been reading posts about translations in the forums here, but to tell you the truth i dont understand it, i want to have gallery in spanish, with my own translations, but at the same time id like my users to have the oportunity to choose from english and spanish but having spanish as the default, cause the rest of the site is in spanish(not totally :oops: , im still fighting with postnuke to have the translation complete) |

You don't want to be using Gallery2 for a live site: it's not alpha yet, and it's quite possible that the database structure could change, and you will have to start from scratch.
If you use 1.3.4 for there is a spanish version, read all about it on http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpWiki&file=index&pagename=Translations
[I think the user choice is available in 1.3.4. You'll definitely have it in G2. ]
G2 comes with multiple languages standard, as long as you have compiled PHP with gettext support turned on.

Someone has pointed out you are using gallery 1.3.4. So you should go here http://gallery-translation.ath.cx/ and click on the forum link to ask your questions.
You'll have to register there.
