I'm still getting to know Drupal 5.x and I need to integrate a photo album for individual users, with group access as well. It sounded like the Gallery2 embed would be just right. I have it all running, except for the URL rewrite, but I'm not worried about that yet.
I just can't seem to figure out where to go now. I've read all the FAQ, and documentation I can find, but nothing says what to do after the installation. I need to make it so the users can set up a gallery, add pictures, etc., but I can't find those directions anywhere for an embedded system. Are there any tutorials, of documents that anyone knows of they could point me to.
Thanks

You need to enable the "user albums" plugin on Gallery2. Also, instruct your users (I assume synching is working?) to click "your album" on the top right in order to get their gallery created (I have it set up to create the album when first accessed rather than upon account creation)

Thanks for the reply. Ii don't know how I did it, but I had also missed one or more steps so I wasn't actually running embedded. I deleted everything, reinstalled the whole site and the second time around it worked. The bit about adding the user albums plugin I think should be made a bit more important. You are right, it fixed the problem, but that little trick isn't pointed out much.
On a different note. if anyone else is testing on their local computer, and running Vista(yuck!) they might run into the same problems I had with setting up the url rewrite. I did everything exactly as it was told, and it would never work. I then went ahead and put a test site on my real server online, and it worked perfectly. Both are running the exact same systems.
