Hello,
I uploaded the (2.3) files on my 2.2.3 gallery (info at the end of this message) to the 2.3 from today's build and on step 2 of the upgrader, it gives the following messages. What should I do? Can I safely ignore these? Please help as my gallery is now stuck in between versions!

the messages about "Notice: Undefined offset" in GalleryUtilities.class usually means that (some of) the MANIFEST files are corrupt in some way.
the MANIFEST files are used to verify that all your files are intact. but if the MANIFEST files are not intact, then the whole check can fail with such errors.
the MANIFEST files are located at gallery2/modules/*/MANIFEST, gallery2/themes/*/MANIFEST, gallery2/MANIFEST.
please reupload the MANIFEST files and run the system check step of the upgrade wizard again.

thanks valiant. I've reuploaded the files, and that specific error is not seeing anymore. However, after clicking on Step 4:
Upgrading the Gallery Core Module
The Gallery Core Module is the heart of the Gallery application. You can upgrade most other modules using the Site Administration interface, but this module must be handled separately in order for the upgrade to go smoothly.
Currently installed Core Module version: 1.2.0.5 (Gallery 2.2.3)
New version Core Module version: 1.2.33 (Gallery 2.3-svn)
Config.php upgrade Required
The result I see is:
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

Can anyone tell me what happens on step 4: "Upgrading the Gallery Core Module" ? Could I possibly do what the installer is doing manually?

Where does the error log file goes? The "gallerydata" folder has a number of upgrade_*.log files, is that the one? What do I look for in there? I don't see much of an error message.

so, if I'm correct, the upgrade_*.log files are the log files I should be looking into. It seems that there's a timeout or something because the log file (compared to previous successful log files) is incomplete. Line 11734:

and that's it. Attempting to do the upgrade results in log files that are cut short as well, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.
I know my hosting company has done some "upgrades" to the database server, and I've noticed that any database access is slower than before. Could that be the cause? Is there anything I can do to force the script to have a longer timeout or something?
Any other solutions I can try?
