I am getting an Error 1001 when exporting from iPhoto (7.1.3) using the iPhoto to Gallery2 plugin for iPhoto. I see mention of this all over the interwebs, but no real answer except "try modifying your htaccess file" and other very generic answers. The Gallery plugin "URL Rewrite" is disabled (since I know this was causing some people problems.)

The developer states "This is a really broad error that means that the plugin didn't like something it got back from Gallery. It may be related to new versions of Gallery."

I have updated Gallery's Remote module plug-in as suggested there too (to 1.0.9.1.) Also I created a new account and placed it within the admin group with no effect. The plugin is able to connect fine, and then tries to upload the first file for a few seconds then gives me the Error 1001.

I know it is not a problem with maximum file size since I am not even able to upload a 500k photo.

Could someone who has heard of this problem please give me a more detailed version of the fix or suggest something other than what I have tried.

Thanks!

I am also running into this problem for one of my gallery users. I am using iPhoto 8.0.2 (aka. iPhoto '09).

The iPhoto plugin (0.6.7) connects fine, but the user is unable to create an album in his folder. However, he is able to create sub album in a previously created album. This seems to be a permission problem, but I can't seem to find a solution.
