Hi

Thsi is my first post, and I really and truly have looked through all the posts to see if I can find my question answered.

I have gallery 2 ( v 2.2.4) on my site at www.livingessence.com

I am able to upload pictures just fine using the web browser in gallery 2. they get resized and thumbnailed perfect. But... it takes time to upload one by one in this way.

I love the idea of Gallery Remote, but it is not working for me.

I have vs 1.5.1-b36 installed on my MAcBook Pro running on Leopard 10.5.2.

I can log into my gallery from GR, and see the albums there on the left side.
I can create a new album using the "new album" command and that works fine.
I can drag and drop into the right side of GR, and pictures appear there.
I can add pictures also using the "add pictures" command.
I can then upload pictures if I do NOT check the option "resize before upload."
But that uploads the full size image to my site: which will take up too much space.
If I select resize before upload, and choose "force resize to 800" I get a tiny image on the site that you cannot see
go here to see what I mean:
http://www.livingessence.com/gallery2/main.php
there are examples at the bottom
the album "2: using Gallery Remote" has 2 pictures in it without resize before upload, and 2 with

I assume that the problem is with imagemagic on my local computer, which is installed

can anyone help out here?

Hi Arjuna,

I think more or less I have same versions and MacOS. But I'm not able to login using Gallery remote. Could you let me know if you know anything about these errors.

1. Warning against gallery remote launch:

An optional part of gallery remote, ImageMagick, could not be found or is malfunctioning. Gallery Remote will not be able to resize images before uploading them, and loading thumnails and previews will be much slower. You can find out how to fix this by going to this page:

2. Then I clicked on Ok on the warning dialog, which opened Gallery Remote with "Login" & Add Gallery URL" button enabled.
If I click on Login, I get the following error:

Error: Server contacted, but gallery not found at this URL (http://www.mullapudi.info/gallery_remote2.php)

Thanks,
Ram
