Random Block Issues

I'm afraid I also have issues to report with the Random Block.

I'm running PostNuke 0.764 and Gallery 1.5.7.

After no luck getting any code to even work, I used the standalone PHP as laid out in the instructional thread stickied here: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/19050

It finally worked, and worked great for months! Until my site started to slow down to a crawl, timing out when trying to access any links or post anything in the forums. Then, the block stopped working completely. It actually just came up empty one day, and stayed that way ever since, despite my multiple attempts at fixing it and trying every bit of code imaginable. So, I finally disabled it altogether and the lag issues ceased.

I'm hoping that there is still development on this block. I know G2 has more attention, but after trying G2 and it horribly failed integrating correctly with my PostNuke, I went back to Gallery 1. Rolling back to Gallery 1 was a nightmare of epic proportions, and I will be sticking with it until G2 has massively better PN integration.
