G2Image won't Insert

WordPress 2.5.1
Gallery 2.2.4
WPG2 3.0.6
G2Image 3.0.3
All other plugins deactivated.

WPG2 validates just fine. Not using Rewrites. Gallery2 is installed in http://[Base URL]/photos/

G2Image launches from either "view" or "html" editing windows. Album tree is functional and I can check photos.

If I don't select an item from the album tree and click "Insert" for "Insert a WPG2 Tag for current album: Gallery," it will place an image in the edit window.

If I select an album from the tree and attempt to insert a WPG2 tag for it, I get this error after clicking "Insert":

Char: 3
Error: 'window.opener.document.forms[...].elements' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http://[BASE URL]/wp-content/plugins/wpg2/g2image/g2image.php?current_album=298&sortby=title_asc&images_per_page=15

I get the same error when checking a single image from an album and trying to insert a WPG2 Tag or even full-sized image for that image.

Results the same whether Firefox (Linux and Windows) or Internet Explorer.

Where can I look for more information?

I've tested on the demo site and everything works fine, so this must be some conflict between my installation of WordPress and Gallery/WPG2.

I'll continue to update this post as I find more information that may be helpful, but my knowledge of PHP and Javascript is extremely limited.

Well, I've exhausted my abilities to research this. It's been a week and no other suggestions. I'm a little concerned about performing complete reinstalls of wordpress and gallery. At this point I'm at a loss. I don't want to abandon gallery because of this one issue, but this is a feature I'd really like to be able to use. There must be some simple solution since it is apparently an isolated issue with my instance.

Sorry for the delay. Life and work keep getting in the way of G2Image...

No, not yet. I haven't heard from Capt Kirk since I sent him a login account. I've tried messing with a few things, but it hasn't worked.

Firebug shows an error when the Wordpress page with TinyMCE comes up...

Jason,

Seems Capt_Kirk maybe on summer vacation....

What plugin's are you using? Maybe this is a java script error and it is conflicting with it's ability to insert??

We can cross reference and see if there is any common programs we use that could be doing something screwy

I'm having the same issue with not being able to insert.

Gallery version 2.2.6
WordPress version 2.6.2
WPG2 version 3.0.7

Who is your host? Maybe this is the common thread.

I have ipower, and since they transitioned to their "new" platform my site has been extremely slow. Maybe there is a server setting that we have that is causing a common problem.

yea... I am guessing at this point but trying to get something to work

Same problem as well but only with IE 6 and 7. It's OK with FF 3.0.3.
Any idea ?
