Removing Admin Views

Gallery version (not just "2"): 2.2.4

I simply would like to know if it's possible to block IP's or cookies from the album/photo view count. I'm particularly interested in blocking my own IP as I do not want to inflate the view count every time I look at or check on a picture. I had difficulty searching for this specific topic here, hence my new thread, my search terms were: removing admin views, but it appears to have come up short or I may have overlooked them. Do you know if it's possible to do this ?
