I have been a long-time user of DAlbum and I recently made the switch to Gallery2. To migrate all my images, I wrote a plugin that could do the work automatically. I suspect that this plugin would be valuable to lots of other users. It is based on the plugin for migrating from Gallery1 and supports most of the same features.

The module will import all images and titles and descriptions and comments from DAlbum. The folder hierarchy from DAlbum will be preserved. The admin can choose to import some or all of the DAlbum folders. The module also supports redirection from old DAlbum URLs to the new Gallery2 locations. The DAlbum installation and data will not be affected at all.
