WPG2 url rewrite causes problems

Having some major problems here. Once I activated the url rewrite for pretty urls i click on an album and it goes to mydomain/v/album and brings me back to my main page with a 404 and a loop that says 404 boulevard, what the heck is goin on?

please disregard this post, i was able to fix it, i did not have the rewrite activated in wordpress.

Thanks, this solved my problem too. Didn't realize that setting was there.
