Is it now safe to use WPG2 3.x with WP 2.5.1?

When 2.5.1 was first released I stopped by here and saw a warning to not upgrade as WPG2 was not compatible.(It was in a sticky) I just now stopped by again and notice that particular sticky is gone and a quick search didn't turn it up (I can't remember the exact wording of the warning so may not have searched correctly) In any case, I just want to double check before I upgrade, as I have over 20,000 photos that I need to have accessible, so I want to make sure I'm not going to break anything by upgrading. WPG2 3.05 was released a few months ago to fix Wordpress 2.5 issues. Latest version to be released very very soon is WPG2 3.07 which is just a bug fix for some registration / session issues. I am running WP 2.5 on my blog without any issues so it should be safe, but remember to BACKUP just incase ;)
