atform Error
An error has occurred while interacting with the platform.
The exact nature of the platform error is unknown. A common cause are insufficient file system permissions. This can happen if you or your webhost changed something in the file system, e.g. by restoring data from a backup.

After uploading with a different FTP program it seems to have worked! Has any one else had any problems with WS-FTP?

not sure, never had any issues with FileZilla.
I would do another similar test run with WS-FTP and the standalone G2 site (not through WPG2)

None that I noticed.. I tend to use a local copy of imagemagick then use the web upload applet with the resize option turned ON thus reducing my photos and saving a lot of diskspace and bandwidth in the process..
