Gallery2 and Wordpress same server

Hello,

why must the gallery2 and the wordpress installed on the same server?

Is there a way to have it on to different domains and server?

Hiya Cgiesen,

Yes you can run G2 and WP on different domains but they MUST be on the same Server. The Gallery2 security model will reject any incoming WPG2 request that exists on a different server.

Ok, I understand.
But perhaps there is a way to say gallery2, when there is a request from domain or server XY, that's OK ?

Hiya Ggiesen,

The only way I am aware of getting Gallery2 to process request from another server (PC) is via Gallery Remote..
