Audio Insertion in WPMU post - how to

Installed Gallery2/WPG 3.0.2 - images are working very nicely, very easy to post to WPmu.

But audio is not working in WPmu posts - mp3audio plugin is installed and works in Gallery2. But when I insert that audio file into a WPmu post with the image chooser all I get is text. What is the correct Insert Option to choose for audio, or for that matter video?

Or if I use code <wpg2>name of audio file.mp3</wpg2> I get the same result -text but no inline audio player.

Is there something to modify in my wpmu setup to allow this to work? Other inline audio players seem to work fine but I would like all of my users to flow their multimedia content through gallery2.

Actually I'm finishing development of mediaBlock.php which acts like the imageblock module only it outputs any media.
If you think it would help, I can zip it up for you.

Would be happy to take a look as it sounds like a great addition- but I don't think that is what I am after. I read posts by other users on being able to post audio/video from Gallery to a WP post but don't see any instructions on how to do this. The options in image chooser all pertain to images and using code doesn't seem to work. Makes me think I need to edit something in my WP setup but not sure where.

As far as I know G2Image does not embed the flashplayers, which I hope to rectify.

Upload to your gallery2 directory and edit line ~28 to reflect your setup.
Hint: the embedUri would be the same as WPG2 embedUri.

Let me know how it works.
I'm currently adding row/column support for album output.

I can confirm that G2image does not understand how to work with flash based players. This will be corrected in WPG2 3.1
