installation error

After installing gallery 2 and changing config.php etc. I get the following error message:
Warning: fetch(/usr/home/vanveennl/public_html/gallery2/lib/smarty/core/core.get_microtime.php) [function.fetch]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/vanveennl/public_html/gallery2/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1206

Fatal error: fetch() [function.fetch]: Failed opening required '/usr/home/vanveennl/public_html/gallery2/lib/smarty/core/core.get_microtime.php' (include_path='') in /usr/home/vanveennl/public_html/gallery2/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1206

I really don't know what I should change or do.

try installing this build instead

Hello,

Have the same problem there are missing files from the snapshot.

Yeah, the snapshot is busted. I am having a hard time reaching Chetan Sarva to get him to fix them .. but I'll keep trying. In the meantime, you can try getting the code from CVS...

looks like the .zip's have the files but the tar.gz's don't

Im getting rejected access for user anonymous trying to get Gallery 2 from CVS

Ya, sf.net's cvs servers can be a bit flaky. You must keep trying until it works :-/

FYI, I touched base with Chetan and he has remedied the problem with nightly tarballs so the [url href="http://www.fw2.net/files/gallery/gallery2-latest.tar.gz"]latest tarball[/url] should be ok. Try it out.
