Two posts about integration with IP camera network

I just wanted to highlight that two posts I just made are about integrating Gallery2 with IP camera networks.

How to archive or delete old images? is about how to deal with the inevitable excess of images. Is there an automated way to delete?

How to group by date? is about how I can provide some timestamp-based method of filtering images so that we can find images that may have occurred near some event.

Gallery2 is clearly not designed for use with an IP camera network. It sure would be nice if I could get it to work, but it's not yet clear to me if Gallery2 is the right product for this purpose.
