Speeding up Gallery using Turck MMCache for PHP

Hi

Have to start by saying i Love Gallery, been using it for 2 years now with great success.

Only had one problame with growing numbers of albums, and that is the server load it generated and the waiting time due to this even when i'm running it on a AMD 1.4 GHz linux based system.

I found a product that speeded up gallery to way higher levels similar like in the begining with very few albums, it's called Turck MMCache for PHP.

I've used it and I can honestly say that it had no noticeable performance increase for me. I've since stopped using it as I decided it wasn't worth the extra memory and overhead for minimal performance gain.
