I would like to modify gallery in order to store all ancilliary pictures such as thumbnails and resized images into their own subdirectory (for example, for an album called "album01", store everything into "album01/thumbnails").

This will enable users to still browse their picture galleries with tools such as ACDSee or ghtumb, and not see all pictures three times (full size, resized and thumbnail). Does this sound interesting to anyone else than me?

Regards,

Ed

Add my vote to this wishlist item as well. I've just started using Gallery and it's what I've been looking for for quite awhile, but I always keep my unedited orginals and don't start modifying pictures until I've placed them in an album. Seperating the pictures from the thumbnails and resized images would make that a lot easier.
