Read the thread and changed my email address also.
Have now three accounts with three different email adresses.
2x WP
1x G2
But didn't help.
When I was creating a new account in WP I also got the error message.
I also truncated g2tim_ExternalIdMap via phpMyadmin
Some additional information
- When I am activating WPG2 I always need retype the WPA2-Path
The error I get when I am trying to enter the WPA2 User Menu in WP is:

Fixed it.
By installing BTEV Plugin for WP
And changing the email addresses could be the reason.

Yeah technically Wordpress should NOT allow you have to accounts with the same email address but clearly from the posts here it does.. I will add some extra code into WPG2 3.1 to trap this situation ;)

I try to rebuild my scene.
I think it is not possible to use the standard admin account in WP.
You need to have created a second on with a different email address.
And (needs to be proved):
The WP and G2 email adresses need to be different too?

What version of WP were you running ratte_00, I am currently having the same problem you experience before. I have WP 2.6.

Okay I added BTEV plugin and that seems to have fixed th user registration issue on wordpress but ID are still incompatible with G2.

That will only be fixed after the incompatible user logs into Wordpress. Gallery2 2.3 will have the final fix to restore full compatibility.

When it is ready, seriously, when it is ready. I am not even close to getting WPG2 3.1 out the door anyway as my development machine suffered a major corruption and I am still working out what of my alpha code got lost..

Sorry to hear about the machine. I actually fix my issue by playing around with the IDs that I was using. Basically, I had webmaster as the ID for admin, changed this back to admin and like the others created another ID with Admin rights. Sorry for the confusion. I would like to say you have done a great job.
