Loading child arrays for specific items

I need to load child arrays (as would be used by an album view) for items other than the one currently being displayed. Specifically, I need to be able to load the children of the main gallery (gid 7) and the grandparent of the current item (I think I know how to get the item ID for a grandparent if I know what to then do with it). What's the best way to do this? Thanks Jake |
