If this has been answered elsewhere, I'm sorry; I sure can't find it. I have searched for hours for an answer to save myself from having to join the forum. I, like most other people am having a hard time integrating my gallery into my WP page. The usual CSS formatting nightmare. I followed the instructions on creating a custom wpg2header.php and that fixed the weird rendering, added my normal footer, and removed the sidebars. Great! Super! Where the heck is my blogs header? Why will everything else show up fine except that? I have rechecked the instruction on the custom header.php half a dozen times. How do I get my header to show up? Thanking you in adance. Sincerly, Frustrated |

m_kaiser, If I can suggest a Simple test, switch your Wordpress Theme back to Default and test to see if you can see a Wordpress Header. If you can, then I would suggest your issue in in your wordpress theme. ____________________________________ |

I'm having a similar issue. No matter what theme I use, the gallery will not embed. It's just the default looking white gallery. WPG2 validates fine and even says that it's using the wpg2header and footer php files. But when I go to my gallery and view the source it doesn't show that it's using any theme or header other than the gallery stuff. I just installed wordpress, gallery2, and wpg2 a couple days ago so everything is the newest version. Any help would be awesome. I'm also using the wordpressembedded theme for gallery, should I still be using that if WPG2 now has the "look like a wordpress page" option? |
