When using the 'from local server' add item option (from snapshot 26 july 2003) on a win2K server, the backslashes are disappearing when a 'legal directory' is selected.

I cranked up my winbox and found that it was failing that unit test so I did some work on the problem. It's passing all my unit tests on Windowss now and I can upload from the local server without difficulties. Can you verify that it's working again for you? Thanks!

After installing the 2003-08-05 snapshot, I am expirience still the same 'problem', with add item from local server.

Hmm. I'm working on the new UI stuff in a different branch for now so I can't track this down. I'll look into it when I get a chance (or remind me again in a couple of weeks!)
