I uploaded wpg2 to my plugins folder and when I log into my wordpress account I go to plugins -> wpg2 -> wp2 and there's nothing there. The wpg2 Paths tab has info in it but all the others say I need to validate first. Is there something I did wrong? Thanks.

Hello
I am also getting the same problem; i provided correct path information in wpg2 paths tab and didn't get any error message but when i go back to wpg2 tab then it is totally blank while all other links show 'Options not available until WPG2 Plugin is Validated.'

I am using Gallery 2.2.5, WPG2 3.0.7 and wordpress 2.5 (last version in 2.5 series). The allocated RAM is 32MB and am hosting my gallery and wordpress on a VPS. All wordpress files are uploaded in root directory while gallery2 files are uploaded in sub-directory and act as a subdomain.

Thanks

Yea there should be separate installation of Gallery2 and wordpress. WPG2 is the required plugins for Gallery2/Wordpress Integration. I also enable the block and image frame mods and my relative path is also not showing any error but still am getting the error message 'Option not available until WPG2 plugin is validated'.

Thanks

I thought I was having the same problem. In the end I discovered that I had deleted/installed WordPress a few times and one of the installs had not removed all of the files from the installation. I also had a problem with FireFTP (a free FTP client for Firefox) that was not re-reading the directory each time. Once I found the active directory everything worked just fine.

FWIW, just to confirm you are not having the same problem you could rename the WP directory and see if it "breaks" the application entirely.

Cheers
