Adding, Deleting, Selecting Albums

This is probably a simple question, but I can't see how to do this.
I have a single album. I choose Add Album (to create a 2nd album) and that seems to work. I add pictures to the new album. That seems to work.
But now I can't find anywhere to choose which album I want to display. I can't find anywhere to delete an album. What am I missing?

To delete, Edit Album > Delete

I think I see what you're talking about. You've added a bunch of photos to your main album and named is BBQ 2007.

Create another album in your main album for those 2007 images. Then move all of the 2007 images into that album. When you're done you should have 2 albums inside your main album (the main/front page), one for 2007 and one for 2008.

Aha. I knew it was simple. I missed the basic fact that there is apparently ONE master album with multiple sub-albums.
