Searching in Gallery 2

I like the look and feel of Gallery 2 but the search tool seems to be limited to single words unless you know the exact set of words you have tagged your pics with. Is there a hierarchy of searches eg can you search within an album and not the rest of the gallery?

Currently there is no way to do that, except when using 3rd party "hack".
