Importing photos from flickr into gallery2 based on tags

hi

I would like to import photos from flickr based on tags directly into gallery2.
I would not want to do the import manually. Also would like the necessary link/credits to be added in the gallery photos for the author of flickr.

Is there an API for this?

Is http://gallery2flickr.sourceforge.net/ the one I should be looking into?

Are there any other APIs available which does the same with Picasa, Webshots etc?
