edit caption or item title in gallery remote after upload

Is there any way to update the captions and other metadata of already-uploaded images with Gallery Remote? I searched through the archives of this forum and found some questions similar to this topic but no definitive answer.

If I upload it with a mistake in spelling or similar, its very annoying to do all all one in gallery itself.

any idea?

This is not yet possible right now. We're rewriting the API, and it will include those features in the future.

Guys, this is a nice little tool but we gotta be able to edit our captions & descriptions. This shortcoming really makes the tool halfbaked and not super useful.

Any news on when this functionality might become available? It's been a year since the post about rewriting the API...

Any news on this. I have a bunch of keywords I would like to update and it will take too long through my slow internet link.
