adding an image hover to the search results page

I am looking for a way to add an image hover to the thumbnails on the search results page.

So when you mouseover a thumbnail of one of the results you can see a larger version of it then you you click on the thumbnail it still takes you to the image page.

I am currently use the siriux theme.

Take a look at this theme:

While not exactly what you're looking for, it does show the changes needed to be made in theme.inc to get at the information for the resized versions of the thumbnails.
