Gallery2 URL Rewriting and WPG2

Hi,

I'm trying to use WPG2 v.3.0.6 with Gallery2 v2.2.5 and am running into some rewrite issues.

Basically, whenever I enable G2 Rewrites, I lose access to my Wordpress pages and archived posts. To see the issue in action, go to rodrig.com and click on the 'Videos' link in the header image, which should take you to a pre-existing WP page. Instead, you'll get a 'Security Violation' error message. I've tried clearing user sessions, the template cache and the database cache via the Maintenance page of Gallery's Site Admin.

I'm not sure if this will help, but at one point, I was getting 404s instead of the 'Security Violation' message. I'm not getting those at the moment, so I haven't included my .htaccess files, but I can do so if requested.

Oh, and I did have WPG2 v3.0.7 installed but fell back to 3.0.6 in the hopes it was a new bug, but the behavior is the same.

For now, I'm hoping to get a nudge in the right direction.

Correction! I had enabled G2 Rewrites via the WPG2 settings page, but apparently it didn't take.

To clarify, I get the security violation message when I try and access a WP page with G2 Rewrites DISABLED. And I get a 404 if G2 Rewrites are ENABLED.

I've attached my htaccess files. It appears to me that rodrig.com/videos isn't matching any of the rules before the 'Stop Processing' directive, [L], in the htaccess for rodrig.com, so it's being processed by the gallery htaccess rules. It then hits the FileNotFound rule and a 404 is generated. If this is the case, I'm not sure how to fix this short of hand-editing the htaccess rules.

I did try and re-generate my Wordpress permalinks on the assumption that it would create a new htaccess with rules for each of the defined pages, but no joy.\

Arrrgh. This is terribly frustrating. I'm disabling WPG2.

If anyone has any grand ideas, I'll enable it and troubleshoot some more. But I'm done with this plugin for now.
