Both are using the same DB, could that be the issue?

Ok re-installed gallery2. Setup a seperate DB for it, tried WPG2 again and the same error

Fixed the issue: The default password generated by Wordpress is INCOMPATIBLE with WPG2

I'm having the same issue I think. Can you offer more details about the default password issue and how you fixed it?

I'm having the same issue, but where do have to go in WP to set the password to be nice and straightforward? I look and look in Settings and Manage, but can not find it
