Can I stop images being resized in the new Slideshow?

The normal size slideshow stretches the horizontal length of the image and compresses the vertical.

This distorts the image and I would like the images to be displayed at their original size.

Similarly, the full screen view stretches the image to fill the screen. Can this be prevented?

I've tried the following variables and none seem to work:
