New Gallery 2 User, Please help!

Hi,

I am using the latest version and am having a difficult time in understanding some things. I have embedded Gallery 2 into my SMF 1.1.6.

1) On the gallery mainpage how can i edit the text that says 'This is the main page of your Gallery' ?

2) I notice members got a wealth of permissions, i dont understand these myself so want to know where i can find a guide to what each one is, is there away to removed the permissions for my members? i dont see a need for them, when memebrs upload pictures etc i want it so they just show to all other registered members on my forum unless they choose to password protect them.

3) This relates to above. I am finding it difficult in understanding permissions, basically i want members to be able to add, view, remove (own picture only), send any picture ecard, comment, view comments, rate any picture, can someone help me understand what i got to do exactly? When i create a album i just want it so people can add pictures etc to it and do above as stated but i am sure there is an easier way as it seems i got to add each membergroup and add what permissions i want to give them on every album i create. This seems to be taking me forever and want to know is there an easier way to do this?

There seems to be so many permissions my mind is doing overtime with them all. I was hoping for a basic permission but it is very advanced,
