Just a simple question.

Will Google, etc, use the keywording info placed in Gallery for their lookup purposes or is this a search feature that only works internally to Gallery on our website?

I am looking for a way to have Google find my keywords to each of my images

Here is a link to my Gallery, trying to update the info but may go to Gallery2 if I can ever figure out how to integrate it to my site like I did with Gallery 1...sigh. I may need an outside Guru to do it for me.

Anyway here it is;

Thanks!

Hello,

If you entered keywords for your images then they are used in Meta tags and search engines can find them.

Well you answered my question so thanks!

One thing though, I put my keywords into Google and my image still does not show up in a search even after several weeks. My website gets decent traffic so not sure the keywords really do show up??

Hi,

For example: http://www.decamp.net/gallery/favorites/kung_fu_fighters2
When you look at the HTML Code: <meta name="Keywords" content="yellowlegs,kung fu fighters,jamaica bay, birds, nature, ">

Favorites makes a dropdownlist of elementactions on album-level preview, but i prefer the direct display of all elementactions (table-form)
I would like to integrate the Link "Add to Favorites" into the element-action-list and restrict this favoritlist to special groups or users.
So i propose, to add the actions conform to elementactions and to add it to the right-management.

OK now paste these keywords from above into Google:

yellowlegs,kung fu fighters,jamaica bay, birds, nature

Hit search and it will not find my image on my site. It does find it where it won a contest on another site but not on mine so the search engine does not see this. I have waited a long time to make sure the search engine had adequate time to catalog this.
