Hi All I have accidently delted a selection of my folder by accident. I want to know if there is a way to recall from the database etc, so i don't have to work out what i have deleted. As i deleted about 1000 photos. ouch !!! A good lesson on what not to do G2.2.3 standalone Pete |

So you wan't to know which files are not in filesystem but has a link in gallery2 db? In other words gallery db has a link to a file that does not exist.
I wrote a code that could check that.

Next guestion is what to do with lost links. Delete or try to repair.

I deleted the photos, I looked under the g2data dire the files have been removed, so i assume there are no file system unless there is a cache listing somwhere.
There are no links in in my g2 to files that are not there. which i think you are getting at here
I suppose i need to know if there is any recover procedure for deleted files, where as it looks like you script runs a check??

Found a way to recover.
I have done a backup from my cpanel, so just grabbed the relevant images and reloaded, which is good to know i had a backup, hope this helps others.
Do a backup of your server install now
